Alright. The cub scout bake auction is next weekend (June 14th) and I have been looking all over the internet for great ideas. I like each of the following ideas for different reasons and I just can't decide which one I should ultimately do. Please, please, please help me out by voting on one of the following desserts! Thanks so much!
A torte (multi-layered cake, for those like me who didn't know the definition before today) because they just look so beautiful! I haven't decided on chocolate or something else. Let's face it, all things dessert come down to either chocolate or not.
Fruit crepe strudels (essentially a crepe with fruit pie filling, folded closed, coated with cinnamon and sugar, and baked in the oven) because they sound delicious!
Cupcakes that have frosting, strawberry jam, hazelnut balls, and grated white chocolate so that they look like a large place of spaghetti, because that just sounds like so much fun!
A fruit pie, just because it's good traditional stand-by.
Please let me know what your favorite is soon so that I can start making plans for whatever it ends up being :)

I think the spaghetti cupcakes sound fun and it would definitely be something that nobody else will bring. Where did you see that idea? I'd love to see pictures.

Steph, the fruit crepe strudel isn't online, it's in a cookbook that I have. I'll put it up on my recipe blog though because I definitely want to try it out regardless!
I love the idea of spaghetti cupcakes! I think little boys would be crawling over each other to get to them!!
I'm an old fuddy duddy. I wasn't thinking of little boys! I was thinking of CHOCOLATE!I have made a chocolate almond torte before and it was out of this world. I don't have the recipe anymore and I don't know of a good one. Who is judging?
Annette, these aren't being judged, just auctioned off as a fundraiser for the scouts. I really want to do something cool, though, so I put the four I'm considering up here on a poll so that someone else can decide :)
I am split between the cupcake and the crepe strudel. But I want both recipes....
Mmmm...Do you have time to make all of them?? OK, maybe not. The Spaghetti cupcakes sound very interesting, and could be a really hot item:) One the other hand CHOCOLATE....Mmmm Very tempting for the moms. Can we pick only one?
