Well, it's been a few days since I've put up anything new, mostly because there hasn't really been that much that's noteworthy, you know? So here's the general synypsis:
Last Friday we kept Kellen out of school because of being sick, but that also meant that he wasn't there to get his Student of the Month award (this time for Safety) so we had to pick it up on Monday instead. Sunday we attended a new church, which we've decided we like and are going to go back to again. Tuesday I went to our cubmaster's house and enjoyed a nice long chat with his wife while Madison played with her daycare kids. Wednesday I made a new blog for our cub pack, and we went to cub scouts where we learned about the Chinese New Year. Thursday I got all my housework done so that Friday morning I could drive into the recycle center in town and pick up some paint for a new project. And then today we met the cub pack at the grocery store so that we could do our annual Pop Can Drive, in which the boys go around neighborhoods asking people to donate their recyclables so that we can turn in them in for the five cent return. It appears that we made about $300 for our pack today, which is great.
This is my newest project. I decorated it for Kellen he was about 3, and Steve and I have decided it's time to re-do it for Madison. So I picked up some white paint and I've managed to get the first coat on.

Last night, while Steve was at a meeting for work and I made Lasagna Enchiladas for dinner, Kellen and Madison had fun kicking a ball back and forth in the living room. Madison isn't very coordinated about it, but she had a blast while Kellen humored her. He's so good with her when he wants to be.

Then, this afternoon, Kellen and Madison played out in the back yard for a while. Kellen has a couple of rubber bouncy balls and Madison loved bouncing them with him out in the back yard for a while. They also played in the mud a little, apparently. Madison came in with mud on the backside of her pants, and Kellen had been putting a little dirt and several earth worms in a 1/2 gal plastic milk jug.

So, are those, consecutively, your pictures of the days? The tee-pee thing in your living room is neat...something to do with scouts, I guess. Hope Kellen's better..he looks it. And I hope you enjoyed your new church today. And your pot roast...we're having chicken and seasoned potatoes!
Glad to see you back on. Sorry Kellen wasn't feeling well. Zaylee's sick too, and it can be pretty miserable. have fun with your pot roast.
Unfortunately, those are not my pics of the day. I have scarcely taken the camera out the last several days, leaving me falling quite a bit behind on my pics of the day. As for the teepee, Mom gave it to Kellen (think it was Christmas) a few years ago. Kellen has enjoyed playing it with it regularly, but it was all new to Maddi this weekend and she thought it was great!
That's great that Kellen will play with Maddi...even if he doesn't always want to. I'm sure it's a big help. It looks like they have fun together.
To answer your question on my blog...we are renting. And, I was excited about the dishwasher because we haven't had one at all our entire married life (or a washer and dryer), so I know it's doable, but I'm ready to have one again. :)
