It's nice to hear...

When Steve got home from his meetings yesterday evening he told me that they had a ride-along today in the form of a college kid who is considering entering the profession. Dale (the guy that Steve supervises) apparently spent a portion of the day telling this kid how lucky he was to be young; enjoy the dating and freedom as long as possible; put off getting married until you just can't anymore; marriage sucks the life right out of you....Anyway, the point is that after telling me all of this Steve said that although we've certainly had our off-points (ranging from simply disagreeing to an outright argument) he enjoys our life together and can't see himself being anywhere else. The truth is that (although ten years is truly only the beginning) after this much time it's really nice to actually hear him say that this is where he wants to be.
