Our Silly Girl

Like most precocious two-year olds, Madison does some pretty bizarre things. Here are today's.

This table (recognized by some as Captain's table) sits by our front door and Madison has taken to climbing up on top of it so that she can play with my picture of Christ and Mary Magdalene hanging right above her head and this time she was (before I managed to get the camera out) curled up on top of the table pretending to sleep.

In this picture, the sausage-shaped thing that you see over her right shoulder is actually my bag-stuffer. It's supposed to be hanging on a hook under one of the kitchen counters. She dragged it into her room and started pulling out bags and putting things in them.

By the time I brought her in for lunch, these bags were all sitting in a group by her door (I moved them to the bed to get them out of the walk-way). Proceeding from left to right, the first bag has a few stuffed animals, the second has a coloring book, the third has every pair of shoes she owns, the fourth has her mega blocks, and the fifth has more stuffed animals.

This one makes a true fashion statement and will have to be kept as a bargaining chip to ensure good behavior during high school. The little dress is so cute, but is rather offset by the fact that the clothes sticking out from under the skirt is a pair of Kellen's boxer briefs, victim of today's unfolded laundry!
