Success!

Well, earlier today when I tried making the toffee I had cooked it at too high a heat (I'm guessing, because I set the timer to make sure I got that right) so I tried again this evening and managed to get it right this time. Yeah! One batch will do us just fine, since Steve isn't real big on toffee and Kellen doesn't recall what it is. Steve will eat some if it's there, but he's pretty satisfied as long as he has his peanut butter balls (a dough ball of peanut butter, powdered sugar and rice krispies, all dipped in chocolate) and anything else I decide to make is mostly for the benefit of myself and the kids.
