This picture isn't really funny until you realize that Madison is wearing Kellen's pagamas. If I don't get the laundry done quickly enough then she pulls stuff out of the clean laundry basket and puts it on, but she always chooses Kellen's clothes instead of her own :)
Once again, Madison has put on Kellen's pajamas.
On the Thursday before Christmas our pack held its meeting at a local retirement home, where the boys received their prizes for popcorn sold this season, patch segments for things they've participated in recently (like Scouting for Food), and then sang Christmas carols for the residents. Kellen managed to sell enough popcorn to reach his goal and gained the prize of a marshmallow blaster. The box says that is for children ages 12 and up, so Steve told Kellen that he would have to wait until he was 12 to play with it! The funniest part is that Kellen believed him and spent part of the evening looking wistfully at this box that he thought he wouldn't be allowed to open for another three years! We tried putting miniature marshmallows in, but it's made for the large ones, so we'll have to go get some of those soon.
Of course, after the caroling, they filled up on cookies and punch before we went home. Drat that sugar!
