Catching up a few photos...

Okay, so there are a few things that I've put in the blog, but didn't include pictures for, and that is what this post is going to cover. You can just consider it the visuals from things that have happened in the last week :)

The boys had so much fun making their tv commercial, which included them being permitted a sequence of making any number of strange/scary/weird faces at the camera.
The end of the commercial had all of them standing together and telling people to join scouts.
Off to the side, we have the various parents who attended watching their kids perform their silly antics in front of the video camera.
Madison was less than impressed by the whole thing, but she was also the only child who had to sit buckled in a stroller the entire time and didn't get to do something in front of the camera.
On the school field trip this last Tuesday my group visited the science room and the animals room. In each room there are several booths, with things for the kids to make or do as they learn about new things. At this booth, they learned that rubbing alcohol can spread the molecules in permanent ink.
This was Kellen's picture. The kids would draw a picture in permanent marker on a piece of fabric stretched over a jar. Then the guy behind the booth poured rubbing alcohol over the pictures so that the kids could see the colors from their pictures spread out across the fabric.
In the animal room, they got to pet an alligator as well as look at various snakes, spiders, turtles, and lizards. We had spent a little too much time in the science room, though, because we had to rush through the animal one and didn't get to see any other rooms. Oh, well.

The commercial sounds like great fun, I wish I could see it. Is there a way to view the clip?

Mom, I know you'll want to see the commercial, and various others will, too. I was planning on sending an email with a link to it for those interested in watching it. For security reasons, I'm not going to post that link on the blog because it would pinpoint us too closely, and could even let people know exactly what pack we're in and stuff. Not real safe. I'll put another post about the commercial when we have the link and then anyone who wants to view it can email me and ask for the link :)
