No, the problem isn't solved. Actually, after putting out the chili powder, I think I ticked them/it off. I looked out yesterday evening and saw that there were three tulips overturned instead of one. So today I went out with a small gardener's hand rake and put them back. I was really glad I had wised up and used the hand rake, because I found new crap in there. Ugh! I have had two people suggest that the county shelter may offer small cage traps for them so that I can send them to the shelter, though. I think I need to give them a call....

My mother in law suggested putting plastic forks in the dirt with the actual fork part sticking up. She has seen it work before. Good luck!
Bummer, bummer! I know we have a cat, and I actually like her...she has a funny personality. But the cats in the flower bed would drive me nuts! Good luck...oh, you might call the extension service and see if they have any ideas on how to get rid of the cats or the problem.
