Procrastination Loses Today!

Much too often I lose the battle with procrastination and the things that I should be getting done get shoved back in favor of something I'd rather do. Today, I won. My dishwasher has been run, my stove and counters are wiped, the table is clean, my living room and family room have been picked up, all the sheets changed, the whole house vacuumed, and some of the laundry has been pushed through and folded. I even managed to hang a large mirror and Steve's car display shelf in our bedroom (they've been sitting on the floor since Christmas) so I feel like today has been very productive :) Now, the plan is to keep on top of it tomorrow with cleaning the bathrooms. Then, when we get to Friday, I'll have the morning free to drive into town. I just found out yesterday that our local recycling center has gallons of paint sitting out front free for the taking, and I just happen to need some to re-do a children's table and chair set for Madison. There's always a new project waiting to distract me from what I should be doing, so I making myself wait until my housework is done before I start this one!

Boy, you sure know how to get busy! I always feel like doing nothing except what is absolutely neccessary, I usually end up doing everything in one day, and don't do anything for a couple. Something tells me I should do only some everyday...

That's like a week's worth of work at my pace! Sheesh! I am the same as Melinda, I do lots one day and then spend the next three recuperating. Good for you, I am glad you got so much accomplished!
