I made a fleece poncho for my niece for her birthday (she turns 9 this month) and I am trying to decide what to do with the trim. I originally was only going to put the trim around the bottom of the poncho but, since I have to go get more anyway (my best guess didn't get me enough length and the pattern didn't offer one) then I am thinking about putting it around the opening of the hood, too. The problem is that I can't decide how I want to place the trim. It would help me a great deal if you would be willing to look at the pictures where I've pinned the trim in the different ways that I'm considering and then go back to the top of the page and vote on a "view".
View #1 - trim on the inside edge of the hood extending forwards

View #2 - trim on the outside edge of the hood, extending forward
View #3 - trim on the outside edge of the hood extending back

Thanks for your help and input. The poncho is finished except for the trim, which will only be a 10 minute job once I make a final decision, but I have to have this done before the 10th of Feb, so I can't procrastinate too much longer :)

that is adorable I love the trim around the hood.
I vote for trim #1, although #3 is a close second. Good luck!
