Completed Projects

Well, as promised, these are the pictures of my recently finished projects. The poncho is done and all wrapped up for my niece's birthday (Madison thinks it's *her* present) and I'm fairly pleased with the finished product. Although I would've liked to have the fringe around the hood (as shown for the voting a couple of weeks ago) I just didn't have enough trim left once I had done the bottom, and that was *after* I went and bought more. The way it is will have to suffice. And then we have the (almost) completed table and chair set for Maddi's room. The only thing left is to do a varnish on the top so that it can be wiped clean without harming the painted surface itself. In case you can't tell, that's supposed to be a castle in the center of the table. My brushes were in far worse condition than I thought when I found them out in the garage. Oh, well. I can be fairly certain that Madison isn't going to care that it doesn't look exactly like I had envisioned...

Those are both so cute...I especially like the table. Someday I will tackle a project like that.

Yeah for finished projects!! Love the table. And the chair. You wanna do a fun thing like that for Evie, for when you come visit us 'sometime'? Anyway, everything is very cute!!

Melinda, of course I could do something for Evie sometime. On the down side, Madison is less than impressed. She doesn't like the castle, and she thinks that the streamers on the chairs are broken rainbows... Oh, well.

At least you have a picture now so years from now, Maddi can be impressed!

I've always thought you did awesome work, just look at Dallas' dresser!! Maybe you should put your talents to work in this years' reunion auction...
