For those of you who don't know, that's what Leo says at the conclusion of an episode of Little Einsteins :) I made some progress out in the garage today (STILL haven't found the cocoa powder and the cinnamon sugar shaker) and am somewhat pleased. I suppose I would be ecstatic if it weren't for the fact that I broke something in the process. I was angry and I tossed a metal folding chair away from me (because there was nowhere next to me to set it nicely, I was surrounded by other stuff, had just found out that a container at the bottom of a stack was broken, and Kellen was hounding me about getting his Bionicles into his room) and the chair landed on Madison's bike helmet and made a huge crack in it. It wasn't Madison's fault, or the chair's fault, but now she's out a bike helmet because I let my frustrations get the better of me. Ugh.
The good news is that I've made a pile of stuff that I can send out with freecycle (as soon as someone says they want it) and I found all of Steve and Kellen's snow stuff so that they can go on the Snow Day trip with the scout pack on Monday. Things are sufficiently straightened up that I could get one car in the garage, if I wanted to. But I feel horrible about Madison's helmet. I just wish I could have a do-over. And, until we replace it, I can't even take her out in the bike trailer when the weather decides to warm up. Steve is going to be upset when he finds out; we can't afford to replace things that I've broken just because I can't control my temper.

Yep, I know how you feel. I have that redhead temper and have broken many dishes and such by getting mad and throwing silverware at the sink, or toys in the boys' rooms. I hope you have a better day.
Ok so you tossed a chair and broke the helmet....put a post on Freecycle that you need a child's helmet. Don't beat yourself up, think of the progress you made!
