More Scout Stuff...

I had a request several weeks ago from our pastor's wife that we please let our cub scouts come to the nursing home that she works at and show her residents how to use the Wii bowling game that they had. Well, we weren't about to turn that down! We had Mickey, his older sister Sam, Kellen, and Benjamin that joined us for the activity, and they all had a blast. The boys played two rounds against each other, and then a third with one of the residents playing with them.

So the funny thing for me is that, on the way home, Kellen started talking about how 'old' our game systems were getting... (Hint, hint). I told him in no uncertain terms that I was not running out to buy a Wii when our PS2 and GameCube both work JUST FINE! Don't get me wrong. The Wii was awesome! I just don't see the need to spend the money on that game system when I already have two (that I sometimes don't want) already in my house. Fortunately for everyone, Steve agrees :)

Whew! Lots has been goin' on! :)Glad to see you back!

Maybe you could negotiate getting rid of the 2 systems to get the Wii...in my book, it's WORTH IT. But maybe I say that because we LOVE our Wii, and that's all we have! :)

Oh...and at least you would know how much he REALLY wanted one then...give up 2 to get 1?? :)

We'd love a Wii, but we also don't have any gaming system right now. But we do go to his folks' house and play theis every now and then. At least they all had fun, right?
