Trip to the park

We had beautiful weather on Sunday in the early afternoon, so we decided to go out for a walk to the park later in the day. It was much cooler when we went out on our walk, so we didn't stay as long as we had though we would. Still, it was great to spend a little time out of the house as a family.
As you can see, Steve isn't all that fond of having his picture taken. I warned him that it was going on the blog, but... Well, as you can see, it didn't matter :)
Kellen played some basketball with some other boys there at the park, which was great. He doesn't get to spend much time with other boys outside of school and cub scouts, so Steve and I were pleased to see him join them here at the park. He's the one in the gray sweatshirt with the ball, in this picture.
Madison climbed up to the top of the jungle gym, but then she had to be rescued by Daddy, since she didn't know how to get down. Notice the front of clouds moving in in the background. It made a straight line all the way across the sky, and looked just fabulous :)
Most of the time, Madison enjoyed playing on the swing, although her hands were freezing by the time we left!
