Cold Sunshine

The weather is still quite cold, but at least we had sunshine for alittle bit. Kellen ran his r/c truck for a while and then tried to come back in the house. Since it's been a while since we've been without the rain, I told him to go back outside and play for a while longer. He was less than impressed, but recovered his usual optimism fairly quickly :)



Madison thought it was a great idea to be outside for a while and requested her hat and mittens so that she could be "warm and cozy" (her words) playing with the sand toys in the back yard.

This is typically what I get in a picture of Kellen; he loves the attention of the camera!

Madison was so pleased to be outside for a while, and didn't really want to come in later when Kellen decided he had had enough of the chill. She agreed only on the promise of a hot chocolate :)
